mimi nicely, RN

Mimi was taking care of a behavioral health patient in the ED and she was a child. Upon transfer, the mother became upset and did not want the child to go without her. Mimi took the mother aside and listened to her concerns. She even stayed after her shift ended to help the mother. Even though the mother was distraught, Mimi kept offering words of encouragement and stayed with her until she could gather her thoughts and go to her own home.

Mimi was understanding and she showed true compassion and caring about her patient AND their family !

She was awesome!!!!
