Mindy floated to 3 west today and had a patient who was COVID positive. Her husband was admitted into ICU B who was also COVID positive but was actively passing away. Mindy put PPE on her patient, wheeled her to her husband's room in ICU-B, and let her stay as long as she needed. This was very emotional for the patient but this meant the world to her. Mindy cares so much for her patients and does whatever she can to make their lives better. We should all aspire to be a nurse like her!
