Her quick thinking, professionalism, and ability to connect with staff members and patients on a personal level truly set her apart as an exceptional nurse leader.
I am honored to nominate Minetta Ralleca for the Daisy Nurse Leader Award in recognition of her exceptional dedication, compassion, and excellence as an ANM for the Intensive Care Unit.
Minetta has consistently gone above and beyond in providing outstanding leadership for her team. Her unwavering commitment to ensuring the well-being and comfort of those under her care is truly commendable. She approaches each staff member with empathy, kindness, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
One particular example that stands out is when she took time from a very busy shift to listen to one of her nurses and their concerns. Although Minetta was trying really hard to get the flow of patient transfers done quickly, she spent time with the nurse and spoke to her in a very professional manner to ensure that what everyone else on the team was doing was trying to ensure that all the patients were safe and well cared for. Her quick thinking, professionalism, and ability to connect with staff members and patients on a personal level truly set her apart as an exceptional nurse leader. Minetta is a true believer in celebrating even small goals. She frequently will provide her team with tokens of appreciation, and the morale of the staff has definitely increased because of her.
In addition to her exemplary leadership care skills, Minetta is also a valuable team member who consistently goes above and beyond to support her colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment. Her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others make her an invaluable asset to our healthcare team. She inspires her team to set goals, and she will do what she can to help us succeed. She also leads by example. Minetta trains to run in half marathons and full marathons, and she has successfully completed multiple of these events. She shows us that hard work and dedication can help us fulfill our dreams.
I wholeheartedly believe that Minetta Ralleca is deserving of this award, and I am confident that her continued dedication to excellence in nursing will inspire others in the field.
