Two days after Christmas a friend developed excruciating back pain. A trip to after-hours GP didn't help, so he reluctantly (because he did not want to be a burden on an extremely busy ward) agreed to attend ED. The waiting room was full, and visitors were asked to leave. After 2 hour wait, my friend was seen by Dr. R with care assigned to RN Min.
I cannot speak highly enough of Min's professionalism and care. It was efficient and friendly. Freely answered questions when he could and also sought answers if he did not know the information. Min's ability to put my friend at ease was appreciated. He did not hesitate to offer pain relief when required and was genuinely empathetic to the situation. With other staff at CT and MRI was very efficiently organized. It was a difficult time in the EMU with a wandering and aggressive patient, Min maintained a calm and professional demeanor and most importantly, kept his humor intact.
Min was the crucial link between the medical staff who visited briefly and my friend. The care received during an extremely busy and potentially stressful time was exemplary. Thank you Min for your genuine care, professionalism, humor, and good nature. This was most appreciated by my family and at an extremely stressful time. On discharge, he assured all paperwork was provided, including scripts and notice of follow-up appointments.

Thank you, Minseong, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
