Mira Cho is an exemplary nurse who demonstrates all the DaVita Core Values. She is a dialysis nurse who goes beyond her scope of practice for her patients. She is very knowledgeable and hardworking. She is currently our AAM and is a great resource for helping remove our CVCs at this facility.

Her great clinical skills, along with her kindness when treating her patients, make her an exceptional nurse. Even when there is a language barrier, patients love having her as their nurse. She tries hard to communicate well with her patients and learns Spanish along with them. They laugh at her and she just laughs along, never gets offended. Patients feel safe and cared for with her. They will request Mira to be their nurse anytime. She has great rapport with the patients, technicians and nephrologists. She involves the whole team to communicate regarding patients care. We have a 90-year-old patient who only speaks Spanish, yet she always says Mira is her angel. Mira is kind, compassionate, and Caring and for that I believe she deserves the DAISY Award.
