Mira Peker, RN, BA
Mira represented for us as a nurse in Assuta the "mother of breast health coordinators", during her work for the last 13 years in Assuta Rishon Lezion.
Mira was a beacon of light and an important and meaningful source of support for her patients. She excelled in her ability to light their way even on difficult days, to encourage, laugh and allay fears while guiding with professionalism, humanity and endless patience. The patients who were treated by her often described her in these words: "Mira was like an anchor for me to hold on to when the ground dropped under my feet."
