Miranda Ferradaz

I am honored to nominate Miranda for the DAISY Award. When I first met Miranda, she was shy and a bit nervous, but from day one, her dedication to nursing was clear. Despite initial hesitancy, Miranda embraced every opportunity to learn, quickly transforming into a confident and knowledgeable student.

I watched with admiration as she not only grew in skill but also began to assist their classmates, eagerly sharing what they’d learned and offering support wherever needed. Her kindness, diligence, and professionalism have set her apart, demonstrating a rare level of empathy and competence. Miranda has the heart of a caregiver, who display compassion towards the patients under her care. I am confident She will go on to become an incredible nurse.

Her journey from a shy beginner to a compassionate, knowledgeable, and confident student has been inspiring to witness, and I cannot think of anyone more deserving of this recognition.
