As it has become more difficult to get inpatients on the schedule for endoscopic procedures, Miranda Fury has become my go-to person to make things happen. Since these cases are often unpredictable and seem to always come up at bad times, it can be very time consuming on my end to get the proper care of these patients. There has been more than a few times I will call Miranda, and her answer is always: "give me a few minutes, but we will get this done." As a provider, this type of attitude is invaluable especially in this time of very tight staffing. Just this past weekend I had a situation where I needed to do two cases, one with anesthesia in a very short time frame and thanks to Miranda's substantial efforts we were able to do it. In addition, she is excellent at the technical components required for endoscopic procedures. Her efforts are truly appreciated.
