Miranda’s ability to connect with and be an advocate for both other nurses and our patients sets her apart. She puts others first and always leads with compassion, never assuming she knows better than others or knows how others are feeling. She has a special way of pushing others to improve while also unselfishly supporting others’ needs. Miranda’s personal aim for continued professional development is consistently visible and appears through others as she invests in their growth. Miranda always reframes problems with patient care as the foundation and uses kindness and empathy as guiding principles in her decision-making and communication.
