I was warmly welcomed by Miranda when I went into the outpatient surgery center. She said, "I will be taking care of you all day," and that she did in simple but meaningful ways. Being a retired RN, BSN myself, I could immediately tell her clinical skills were excellent and efficient. Her caring skills were even better.
As soon as I undressed, she had the warm blankets ready and when I said I was still cold, she immediately hooked me up to a warm air blower. When I was nauseous, she offered me soothing scents which helped a lot. She always looked into my eyes trying to make me more comfortable and less anxious. She certainly earned my trust with her very competent, compassionate, and peaceful manner. I have the feeling Miranda treats every patient as though they are the most important person to her at that moment in time. Thank you, Miranda!
