She is the kind of nurse who changes the atmosphere of a room simply by walking in, offering comfort, confidence, and genuine compassion.
Recently, she went above and beyond for a friend facing breast cancer surgery. On a day filled with fear and uncertainty, she stepped in as both advocate and protector. She assembled the strongest OR team, coordinated every detail with intention, and ensured her friend received exceptional care. It wasn't just her professional duty; it was her humanity on full display.
What makes her remarkable is that this level of dedication isn't reserved for the people she knows personally. She treats every patient as if they were a beloved friend or family member. She brings warmth to moments when patients feel most vulnerable, especially as they prepare to be put to sleep for surgery. Her presence is grounding. Her advocacy is unwavering.
