I met Miranda when my dad was admitted to Eleanor Ward after he had a major stroke.
Miranda was so lovely in her care for my dad. She said to me "I will care for him as if he was my own father". Her compassion not only for my dad but for my mum and me was amazing. Miranda was never still; always run off her feet, but never too busy if we needed her to attend to Dad. I would like to recognize Miranda because she stood out from the others.

I will never forget Miranda and she will always have a special place in my heart. Miranda is a very special person. She is very caring and goes above and beyond her duties to help everyone.
When my husband had a major stroke he was admitted to Eleanor Ward, where I first met Miranda. She took care of him as if he was her own father, which is how she treated all of her patients.
She worked so hard, but always with tender care and explained everything to us- what and why she was doing it. She also made sure we, as a family, were all right and helped us understand the situation. Miranda stood out as she worked so hard, but she was also passionate about her work.
