It was more than terrifying for everyone in the room. Miranda though, stepped up to the plate immediately to do what had to be done.
Miranda’s support, compassion, and knowledge made my husband and me more comfortable as we entered the world of parenthood. Miranda displayed compassion by always making herself available and remaining patient with all the questions we had. As our stay was longer than expected due to unforeseen circumstances, Miranda strived to make our stay here as comfortable as possible and sought to relieve our fears. I would recommend her to provide care to any of my friends or family. She is truly deserving of this award.

Coming into deliver your baby you have all the emotions, but you never expect the unexpected to happen. Well, it did. My epidural numbed my diaphragm and motor skills, dropping mine and the baby’s vitals. It was more than terrifying for everyone in the room. Miranda though, stepped up to the plate immediately to do what had to be done. She was calm, reassuring, and had my and baby’s best interest on the front line the entire time. Afterward, she provided comfort and information to make the days ahead easier. She has gone above and beyond her job description every single time I’ve seen her since I arrived. No one is more deserving of this award.

She treated us with the highest respect. Kept our comfort and safety as her highest priority. A true professional.
