Miranda is that nurse; she is that nurse you want caring for your Mom, Dad, Grandparent, or dear family member. I was blessed to be the recipient of her care. I think it is easy to teach skills, it is nearly impossible to teach the level of compassion and care the Miranda just simply exudes. It's clear it's part of her DNA.
Miranda's care of me and for me was unparalleled and hard to quantify with mere words. I've worked around and with nurses for a long time and she is a shining star in that universe. I don't hope to return for future procedures in the OR, but it would be a tragic loss for Veterans like me if she was not there to greet them and make them feel safe and cared for as they wake from anesthesia.
