Mirette has made our stay a very soothing one with her smile and care for my wife. My wife was going through an emotional time due to her C-Section and baby's infection. Mirette's care was wonderful during this time. She also took care of my wife's pain during stool release which I think is very caring, duty bound and her willingness to help the patient cure. She is excellent and I am proud to nominate her.

I came in to the hospital to check if my blood pressure was high. I was 39 weeks pregnant and was suffering from a headache for four days. It turned out that my blood pressure was doing well and normal but my baby wasn't doing well. My doctor came in and said I would probably need a C-section. I was devastated. I wanted to have a natural childbirth since I got pregnant. The C-section went well but I was in so much pain I was tired. I was put in the recovery center of L and D and that is where I met my nurse Mirette. She has been an Angel. She treated me with so much love that it made me feel like I was part of her family. She was extremely knowledgeable and patient with me and my husband. She showed me how to take care of my baby as well as help me with breastfeeding which was so important to me. Mirette is a kind, caring, smart, nurse who deserves the DAISY Award.
