I have never worked with a wound care nurse as dedicated and patient as Miriam. I have observed her changing/treating complicated wounds and dressings with expertise, while simultaneously being extremely sensitive to the patient and their discomfort. She has waited patiently many times for pain meds to be given and to take effect before initiating treatment. This past winter, Miriam changed her schedule and came in on a day-off to treat wound patients. She is always pleasant and an amazing team member.
