I recently visited the ER after experiencing a negative reaction to cytotec after suffering a miscarriage. I arrived close to midnight suffering from intense abdominal pain, nausea, and a high fever as well as severe emotional distress. I could not be more grateful that Misako was my nurse that night. Misako was comforting, sympathetic, caring, and every other adjective that a nurse should be. She held my hand through the long bouts of painful cramping. She assured my concerned husband that everything would be okay. She provided me words of encouragement as I cried over the loss of the child that I will never know. She provided me with the best care that I have ever expereinced, and I can truly say that she got me through the most physically and mentally painful moments of my life. For that I could not be more thankful. Misako may not remember my name or face. I am sure that I am not the first patient that she has cared for in such a manner. I, however, will never forget the kind words and gestures and the amazing care that I received from her.
