Life threw me into a tailspin with an acute kidney stone attack resulting in painful complications. Although medical and nursing staff were helpful, Missy was exemplary. Instead of the “sorry you’re not feeling well” with an intonation that is often neutral, Missy’s voice was far more comforting and had a genuine sincerity that made me feel like she truly sympathized and cared. In the midst of painful reactions with my situation, she was quick to respond. Her smooth, calm voice let me know everything will be ok. She explained the meds being given and waited a few minutes to make sure they were taking effect as they should. She often checked into make sure I was ok even when I didn’t press the call button. So thankful to have her help – she has the voice of an angel.
