I could not have asked for a better nurse. Missy took great care of Mom (me) and our new baby. She helped with teaching my husband and me how to change diapers efficiently, how to swaddle, and several ways to soothe. She checked in on us often and helped me with breastfeeding and how to get a better latch. Missy also took our newborn for a couple of hours so we could get some sleep. She made us feel like family. We can tell she loves what she is doing and we were sad when her shift ended. She is the most deserving of this award. I don’t think we would have made it through the first day without her.
