Our DAISY Award honoree for Sanford Worthington Medical Center is Missy Gruis, RN. Missy has been employed at Sanford Worthington Medical Center for 25 years, and worked in various nursing units throughout her career. She is currently a home care nurse and was nominated for the award by a patient’s family.
From her Patient’s Family:
Missy is a wonderful Nurse, she’s one very caring lady. The last day of my husband’s life, Missy was in his room as well as other people, Joe said “I don’t want to give Missy up.” She was always so helpful. Always had that smile. We love her.
