My Mother was a patient for only a short period of time but it had been such a whirlwind of events leading up to it. Misty was such a Godsend that morning. The journey we were about to begin was not what we expected and I appreciate her so very much. The day before had been a blur and I was so confused, tired, and worried about Mom but Misty explained so much to me. Any questions I had she answered or found someone to try and answer for me. She was just so patient with Mom and so gentle and kind. Mom had become a little combative with us which was so hard because that's not like my Mom at all. Misty was such a comfort to my Dad, Brother, and me through this. She made sure Mom was being taken care of but also taking care of us too. She even helped get my Mom’s sister, who has a hard time walking, into the hospital and up to ICU. Misty was such a comfort to our family and we are so grateful to her. She was such a kind, helpful, and understanding soul to us. Misty, you will be in our hearts for the wonderful care you gave our Mother.
