Much like the aforementioned statement, numerous "you Got Caught Caring" cards have been collected and portray the dedication in excellent care given by Misty. Her work here at Memorial Hermann encompasses components of the Magnet Model. She is a positive team player and respectful employee of Memorial Hermann since 2009.

Misty champions multiple unit projects and audits her peers for compliance to achieve and sustain a successful rate of 100%. She is always ready to volunteer for hospital affairs; as well as in the community; including: the MS 150, Boy Scouts, and at Texas Christian. At the forefront of innovation, Misty has developed multiple processes: PI project "Identifying suicide Safety Risks", Admission/Discharge checklist, and 24h medication audit tool. In her professional growth she actively seeks out certifications with a most recent certification in "The Citizen Emergency Response Team". She is a preceptor to UT students and has developed support groups for patients and families.
