Misty encompasses all that ACH represents. She is loving and compassionate with patients and their families. Misty makes it a point to make sure every family in the unit knows they are not alone and that the nurses care for them as well as their child. When she is team leading in the unit, she always checks on each individual person several times during the day. She lends a hand anytime asked and even when not asked she will just go in and do what needs to be done to help. I never have to look for her, she is always available and knows where she is needed. She is a wonderful role model for new nurses and a great example of what everyone should strive harder to be. I feel she genuinely makes a difference in her patients and co-workers lives. I have worked all over this hospital and I've never come across a person that puts more effort into lifting other people's spirits than she does. Anywhere she is she knows she is representing her hospital and unit. Anywhere you might run into her in the hospital she will make it a point to smile, hug or say hello. I am proud to work alongside her and I would let her care for any of my children because she is amazing and truly does have care, love, and hope.
