Misty Hilton, RN

I wanted to give a kudos to Misty. We had a patient come in code red for respiratory distress that was incredibly sick and we did not think would make it. Misty spent a lot of time this morning coordinating on the phone with the patient's daughters who were out of the country and also with EMS to be able to go and pick up the patient's disabled significant other so he could be at the patient's bedside.

Fortunately, the patient had a miraculous change in status that left us all a little stunned, and was moved to ICU. Misty continued to be in contact with the family and also the neighbor to help care for the significant other. Misty truly went out of her way for the patient today and I have shared my appreciation.
