I first met Mitch at the beginning of September 2024. I was there for three days, went home, fell, and was back in an hour in the same room. He was my nurse on the shifts he was there. Unable to walk, I had to go to WeCare for therapy. Mitch was compassionate, caring, and encouraging. There were times it was hard there and his encouragement would come to mind. So in part, he helped me heal even then. I went home in November for a couple of days and had to go back. I got home for good in December. I ended up in the hospital a couple of weeks ago, and I was fortunate to have him again for one shift. I believe he deserves this award very much for his excellent work. It was a pleasure being under his care again, plus the fact that I could show him I could walk again. I would trust and be safe under his care again. Thanks Mitch.
