My 2 year-old daughter came into the emergency room via ambulance, due to breathing issues. She had no clothes on due to being rushed out of our home. Her nurse was so kind, soft, encouraging, understanding, and considerate. As soon as we got there, he asked if she needed a pull up or diaper, and checked in frequently.

When engaging with her, he was very encouraging, helpful, and calm. He would tell her how well she was doing, how brave, and good she was and even sang a song with me to her. We needed to get a Medicaid taxi home, and he allowed us to wait in the room until they got there. Sadly the taxi service got the times mixed up so we ended up sitting in the waiting room for hours, which we were trying to avoid due to her having nothing but a blanket.

Her nurse kept checking on us and even got us blankets to stay warm. Mitchell was so kind, so soft spoken, empathetic, and helpful. My daughter never once seemed to be bothered, or uncomfortable with his presence. He was so encouraging to her, constantly reassuring and did his best to make sure she was comfortable. He was 100% on top of everything, very well with communication!
