I was admitted for a urological procedure and remained in the hospital for a couple of days. While both of the nurses who cared for me during that short time were outstanding, my day nurse, Mitrianne, went "way" above and beyond on both days. Her professionalism, attention to detail, as well as a sincere concern for my health needs were stellar! Along with all that, she always lit up my room when she entered. I have been hospitalized numerous times and this experience and care truly stood out above the rest. While being in a hospital is never an enjoyable experience, Mitrianne made my time there extremely comfortable. When it came time for me to be dismissed, I was almost a little sad to be leaving. Not only is Mitrianne most deserving of the DAISY Award - I would contend that she deserves the entire bouquet!
