I would like to nominate my team of RNs on Pavilion C! They do amazing work every day, but the example below shows how they are willing to go above and beyond for the patients in their care.

They collaborated with the interprofessional team to get extended LOS patient in the PCU (almost an entire year) outside. Complicated process due to patient’s comorbities including: trach mask/oxygen delivery & decreased mobility. The effort improved the patient’s outlook on his prognosis, and he was discharged to a rehabilitation unit a few weeks later.
