The staff here, specifically the staff I’m nominating for the DAISY Award today, treated me like an ordinary person with compassion and respect. They make me feel as though I may actually be worthy of living a life that I had all but given up on until now. It may not seem like much to an ordinary person but believe me when I say that their treatment towards me had quite literally saved my life and I genuinely believe they should be awarded and rewarded for doing so.
