Molly was kind and realistic about how the next days were most likely going to unfold.
My mom was in the ICU at Monument Health recently and Molly was her nurse for a few days. My mom was very sick. Molly was instrumental in guiding us through very tough decision-making concerning mom’s end-of-life care. She was probably the most straightforward healthcare provider Mom had. While others tended to deliver the sad news with a small dose of unwarranted optimism; Molly was kind and realistic about how the next days were most likely going to unfold. She was compassionate when describing what would transpire (as best as she could guess) when the equipment was removed. She was correct and I was right in trusting her. I appreciated that she always encouraged us to see the “whole picture” of Mom’s deteriorating health. During my mom’s time with Molly, I saw Molly provide not only attentive medical care, but she was exceptionally kind, gentle, and caring with my mom. Clearly, Molly loves nursing and our terrible loss was made slightly less painful by her compassionate care.
