I just wanted to recognize a fantastic nurse who cared for my daughter during her 4-month stay at Children's Hospital. My daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer and had surgery the day after it was discovered. She developed severe posterior fossa syndrome after her surgery. Molly was so kind and caring for not only A, but for me as well. She always went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of physically and mentally.

I had a moment in the first week we were there when I broke down crying at my daughter's bedside and Molly walked in and comforted me and gave me a big hug! I don't think she knew how badly I needed that hug! There were still some restrictions on who could be at the hospital and my family was more than 3 hours away from us. I needed that human touch of caring that I could not get from my family. Not only did we have an amazing nurse whom we always looked forward to seeing and were disappointed when she days off, LOL, but we gained a lifelong friend! She made those extremely difficult days in the hospital a little more joyful and fun with her humor! I can never repay her but I hope she knows how much we love and appreciate her!
