Molly spends endless time with her patients and pays great attention to detail, making all the biggest differences for the smallest things.
Molly is a phenomenal team player and a great addition to the 12NW team. Today, at the very beginning of her shift, Molly walked into a cat call on her patient. Without even getting report or settling in, she immediately dove to help out. She dove into her shift headfirst, as this patient continued with respiratory distress throughout the morning. Molly consistently advocated for her patient and their care with regular updates and communication with RT and the physician. She has great clinical assessment and critical thinking skills always considering what next step she can take for her patients clinically and emotionally. Shortly after the patient escalated and was transferred to PICU. After her whirlwind start to the morning, Molly had multiple discharges. Shortly after, Molly had multiple admissions. Even though she had a busy and overwhelming morning, Molly dove into this transfer, discharges, and admissions with a positive attitude. She never once complained or frowned. She remained positive and happy to provide any and all patient care. Throughout this, Molly remained a team player, and although busy, helped her coworkers with their patients and even helped another nurse with her admission. Molly exemplifies the ICARE values and is a phenomenal nurse. EVERY single shift, Molly works hard advocating for her patients and going above and beyond. She always has a positive attitude despite all obstacles and faces every challenge with a smile. She spends endless time with her patients and pays great attention to detail, making all the biggest differences for the smallest things. Every shift I work with Molly she continues to amaze me. Her compassion is unmatched and her teamwork is always great; she always communicates well with everyone. She will never fail to advocate for her patients/families and she will always strive to provide exemplary nursing care. Molly consistently shines on every shift she works and her dedication to our team and patients is evident.
