Molly Klein, BSN, RN

I’m 15 years old, and I was admitted to Molly’s unit for nearly three weeks for a ruptured appendix. Molly was my nurse a lot of the time I was here. Whenever I saw her at my door, the whole room lit up as if a ball of sunshine had come in. She has a contagious laugh that makes me smile even in the scariest moments. She is easy to talk to about personal things and even easier to relate to. Anytime I pressed my call button, she came very quickly, ready to help me in any way she could. A great teacher is another quality Molly has; she always had another nurse with her as she cared for me. She was patient and very kind with anyone she was teaching and always guided them gently. I think Nurse Molly deserves this award from the bottom of my heart because she never just showed up to do her job and get the work done; she truly put a smile on my face, even during my darkest times.
