It is with great pleasure and honor to recognize Registered Nurse Molly, who has persevered and stood out in these unprecedented times. Molly encompasses strong leadership skills, expert knowledge and is dedicated to serving the hospital, her team members, and the patients she cares for.

Devotion to Duty: Molly has been a consistent leader on 5100 for four years and is our primary charge nurse and preceptor on 5100. She has mentored and educated those around her and helped them become successful professionals in the workplace. She also has encouraged and led 5 RNs to join the clinical ladder and encouraged their involvement within the organization.

Expert knowledge: Molly is a highly dedicated clinican IV RN who shows her passion for pursuing and advancing her nursing skills. She is currently the only RN on 5100 who has been certified to administer definity for echocardiograms. She is also one of the few who specializes in sensi-vest readings and goes to different units to assist and improve patient care and outcomes. She remains certified in BLS, ACLS, and EKGs, participates in skin surveys and leads as our super user for falls. It takes a committed and devoted person to continue to be an expert and knowledgeable clinician IV, and has resembled that more than ever in the past year.

Trusted Leader: Molly is a proactive and goes above and beyond to assist in changes and growth on 5100. She has represented us at recruitment events and has most recently helped remodel our staffing structure to include LPNs on the unit. Molly’s proactive and creative approach this staffing change improve patient satisfaction and patient safety. Molly is an exceptional nurse, mentor, educator and contributor to the Rochester Regional Health organization. She is most deserving of this recognition as her expertise and ambition continue to shine throughout the cardiology units and Rochester General Hospital.
