The day my son was born via c-section, Nurse Molly came into my room to start the process of admitting me. After all that, we proceeded to the OR. Molly accompanied me with my team. During the process, I had many emotions. I had tears in my eyes during the procedure, and Molly would continuously wipe my tears. I didn’t even know anyone had noticed my eyes filling up with tears. Molly did and wiped them away each time. I felt really cared for during those moments, and I will never forget it.

Afterwards, she spent significant time with me in the recovery room and then in the nursery with me, where I spent hours with my son, who needed temporary oxygen. She was so kind and comforting to me. She took such good care of me and my baby. She was very informative to my husband, and she just provided excellent care. I was sad when her shift ended because she was so good to us and very attentive and a part of our whole day.

I was so happy to find out she would be working the next few days while we were in the hospital. She constantly provided us with exceptional care and information to help with our newborn and my recovery. On the day of discharge, we were sad to leave Molly. She made such a good impact on our stay and helped us with everything we asked and didn’t ask for. Molly is a perfect candidate to be recognized for exceptional care! I wish every nurse could be like Molly!
