I was followed as a surgical patient for three months, during which time (and beyond) I found Molly's efficiency, professionalism, and dedication to be remarkable.When the doctor, and subsequently Molly, became aware that the process of my referral to the surgery department was not moving forward efficiently, Molly took it upon herself to make sure that the appropriate records were obtained, rather than asking my referring provider or me to again provide such documentation. Within days I was seen for surgical consultation. In the weeks that followed, Molly's assistance was instrumental in coordinating care between surgical and endocrine departments.Molly was patient and diligent in providing me with instructions and answering my questions.In fact, on more than one occasion she phoned me as the clinic was closing or even well after the clinic was closed. Never once did I feel rushed. Even after I was discharged from the surgical service, Molly contacted me to see how I was doing with follow-up care and to make sure there was nothing else that I needed.
As a healthcare provider, I am particularly appreciative of the attention to detail and the efficiency with which Molly provided her nursing expertise. As a patient, I found Molly's reassuring tone and her kind, compassionate, and authentic demeanor to be a true gift.
