I had a baby via C-section in the Birth Center. The whole staff was so great; my experience was fantastic but, in my opinion, one nurse went above and beyond to help me and my baby.

I was really struggling with breastfeeding, which was really important for me to do. Molly was so very helpful by showing me some different positions. She was also very encouraging by telling me I was doing great during a time when I felt very frustrated that I was not producing as much as I wanted to. She made me feel confident and patient. Most of all, she took her cues from me, helping in a way that put me in the driver’s seat so both my daughter and I could figure it out together.

I can’t explain how good this made me feel! I was feeling very defeated and on top of that, understandably my hormones were all over the place! She was not pushy but, instead, just always there to lend a friendly hand. When she handled my baby, she was gentle and caring. And her care of me was stellar! She was courteous, prompt, professional, and always bubbly and happy. Whenever she was caring for us, I felt confident, that I could do this “Mom thing.” She took the extra time to encourage me. Again, everyone on staff was awesome, I just wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to Molly for giving me to tools and confidence to care for my daughter.

As a new mom who was very scared to go through the whole process, this was by far the greatest gift I received.
