You can see it in her eyes when you give her a patient; you can see how their suffering goes straight to her heart; you can see their pain in her eyes. Molly Tollefson has been a nurse on 7EH for two years and in these two years she has worked incredibly hard for every patient she has cared for. Molly shows incredible compassion for each patient regardless of their life circumstance, and she works tirelessly to assure every patient is receiving the best care possible. Molly believes in the innate good in every person and has the incredible ability to see past everything to the good. She takes on the needy patients, the medically heavy patients and the ones with difficult family members. Molly is sought out by her peers for advice and opinions regarding patient care and is quick to help any co-worker. She has recently trained to be charge and has embraced this new challenge with determination to not just succeed but to excel. The compassion that Molly shows for her co-workers and patients goes far beyond what nursing expects and demands. Molly has a gift for patient care and for advocacy and everyday we are learning to show compassion in the way it comes naturally to Molly.
