Mona asks excellent questions if she is not familiar with the situation, but always resolves the problem in a timely manner. She is very positive and carries the faith in her work.
Mona is an amazing, caring nurse. I have had the pleasure to work with her over a year now. Her skills are incredible and her passion for her work says it all in her performance. I have been scrubbing for 29 years and had the opportunity to work with several RN's, but Mona is at the top. Her patient skills are amazing and very professional. She is truly a patient advocate. I have seen her stand up in the room for patient safety. Mona updates the family while patient is in surgery to take the stress off the family from the unknown of waiting.
She is an incredible team player. Mona helps the techs pull cases and open up the room. This is a rare incident for RN to help but Mona is a special person. As a Tech we rarely get recognized but every time the patient enters the room she introduces the Tech. This is a big deal for a tech. Mona concerns herself with everyone in the OR, if they had breaks or lunches.
She is a very top notch nurse with incredible skills. If she does not know the answer to the question or problem Mona will research it until the situation is completed. Mona works as a circulating nurse in my OR at my surgery center. She consistently shows up every day with a can-do attitude and is always willing to go above and beyond not only for the physicians but also for her patients. She is knowledgeable and makes my job so much easier as my circulating nurse.
