Mrs. Monaco is an angel. She truly is a God-sent. We've been on the ortho floor for a week now, and the nurses and techs have been wonderful, but Mrs. Monaco exceeded our stay here. My husband had an awful accident, and not once did she complain about helping him. At nighttime, she would make him these ice packs, wrap his jaw up, and hold them in place to help ease the pain. I would try to help him, but she insisted on doing it, saying don't worry, get some rest, I will take good care of him and that she did. She made sure he was at ease the whole time, and she definitely cared for him as if he were her own family. She is the true definition of a caregiver and nurse. She was constantly checking in on him and just truly being there for him. I almost lost my husband the day of the accident, but her spirit and care for him helped change his mindset. We will forever be grateful for her.
