Monet went above and beyond to make me feel safe and well taken care of.
I was a patient at MRH for five days and was diagnosed with COVID-19 and had serious complications. I understand that due to precautions, the nurses limit contact with the patients, but Monet went above and beyond to make me feel safe and well taken care of.
She was always willing to help me go to the bathroom when the others told me to do it on my own. She was not afraid to touch me! She even braided my hair without me asking. She made sure I had chocolate pudding to help me swallow my pills and to do so she had to go to a different floor in order to get it.
She was always smiling, and you could see in her face and body language that she loved what she did. She was the only one who listened to my lungs, not even the doctors did. She's really a top-notch nurse and deserves recognition for all that she does.
