I met Monette Montale's in day surgery for my port-a-cath placement. I am newly diagnosed with cancer. I was really scared about having the port placed, it was my first time having surgery. Monette's post-op care was amazing! She does the right thing and inspired me. She told me what to do and what to expect in my healing process. She even made a follow-up phone call with me to make sure that I am doing ok and to tell me how to take care of my port-a-cath dressing. She is a wholesome nurse who goes beyond what is expected of her. She even prayed for me and made me closer to God in my difficult times. She is an Extraordinary Nurse who needs to be recognized. You can count on her.
