Monica Bendt, RN

We had been working with a very difficult patient. Monica continued to be pleasant and went above and beyond with kindness. This patient was almost always nasty to staff who would try to work with her. Monica never reacted negatively to the patient. She always offered ideas or suggestions that might help the patient with whatever concern she had at that moment. It was obvious that Monica truly cared about the patient's health and safety. It can be difficult not to get caught up in a patient's negativity and take it personally. Monica did an excellent job of separating how the patient acted from what the patient needed. I hope she will be recognized for her skills and attitude.
