Monica was a bright understanding positive light during my mom’s stay after she was admitted for possible stroke. Monica took the time to listen to mom’s cries of wanting to be released and to go home. She was STERN but kind and offered other solutions to make her feel better. Mom missed her cat and Monica remembered her cat's name and suggested she FaceTime with her. It is people like her that spread kindness and compassion while doing their job. Monica treated Mom like an individual.

Monica cheerfully explained everything in detail until I understood. Great help with the teleconference and making sure I understood what the doctor said. On discharge, she gave me specific instructions on what to do. She was compassionate, professional, and dedicated by consistently going above and beyond.
