Monica was so diligent in my Dad's pain relief. She never gave up on making sure that he was doing okay, and she advocated hard for him. He didn't feel alone when she was here.
She noticed things most people would miss, such as increased edema in his feet, and her kind attitude helped him stay calm throughout. I could tell she saw him as a human being who mattered and not just a number on a chart.
