My mother was very confused and refused meds and testing. Monica was so patient and would just take time to listen to my mother and not rush her into doing something. When other staff had trouble with my mother during a test, Monica went to the testing area to try to calm her down. The test was then able to be completed.
I am a retired health care worker and I have very high standards and expectations of patient care and I can tell you Monica was wonderful. Monica then took care of another family member of mine sometime later. I knew my other family member would be in good hands with her.
Health care and nursing have changed so much in the past several years. I'm sure that Monica had many other patients to take care of and many other tasks to do; however, she made us feel that our family was very important and that meant so much.
