Monica Loring, RN
Over the past six months, Monica has shown incredible growth, taken on new challenges, and has been instrumental in ensuring that patients visiting the practice receive incredible care. Since December Monica has become certified in wound care, ostomy, and foot care. That’s no small “feet” (sorry!) given the amount of studying it can take to become certified in simply one specialty area.
Recently, Monica created an educational series for the nurses on the MSU to help them better care for wound and ostomy patients and has helped the unit inventory and stock the correct supplies for appropriate care. Monica has always jumped in to support the providers wherever needed with a smile. She helps with consults on the MSU, sees patients in the practice, and even takes on the routine patients when a provider is out so that continuity of patient care never falters.
Monica has also helped establish the practice’s nail clinic, helping the many members of our community who have difficulty with that level of self-care with much-needed habitual foot health. However, perhaps most importantly, Monica always brings a positive, resilient, can-do attitude to the many challenges that come in a busy specialty clinic. She is an incredibly reliable team member and the group is so lucky to have her with them. Thanks for all you do, Monica!
