I could see and feel the love and compassion that was in her heart. My daughter was very upset and she calmed my daughter down with her excellent communication skills. She is the most professional, caring, and loving nurse I have ever had. She shows empathy for her patients and their families. Her care is always consistent. I told her I had questions for my doctors, and she said those are excellent questions let me get you paper and pen. She always went over and beyond, and you never had to ask. She gave me shots in my belly and was always so gentle. She understands the needs of her patients, it comes naturally to her. She has a very calm personality that radiates. She makes you feel at ease because of how she explains to you. She was a tremendous part of my healing. My nurse could see that I was unsure how to give my Lovenox shot. Without asking her, she said I will show you how to do the injection. Afterward, I felt very comfortable doing it myself. She's amazing! She connects naturally with her patients. At the end of her shift, she would come into my room and say goodnight. One night when she came into my room to say goodnight, she told me she was going to Disney with her family. She said she was leaving the airport at 10:00 am to go to Disney the following morning. She is a natural-she connects with her patient deeply. She shows love, compassion, and empathy, she's professional, and caring. She was a big part of my healing at St. Luke's. She is full of LOVE.
