Monica is a wonderful charge nurse. Monica took the time to introduce herself and the nursing staff to me and answer any questions I had. She then made sure to check on me regularly, and when I was distressed and feeling discouraged, she spent time validating my thoughts and feelings, and helping to boost my confidence as a new mom. I did not expect any of this from a charge nurse since she oversees the whole floor. I felt very lucky to have Monica in charge.
