Monica leads by example. She has high standards for herself and holds others to high standards as well, but it makes us all better nurses and promotes a culture of exceptional patient care. Monica is the calmest, yet most driven individual I've ever met. She is well respected and well-liked due to her fairness and the culture that she promotes. She supports our continued development as nurses and does her best to ensure parents, patients, and staff are all respected in the PICU.

Monica is enthusiastic about her position, and about promoting great care within the PICU. She is quick to step in and see what can be done better, and she ensures we find the root cause of any issues so we can learn from them and ensure we have better results in the future. Monica has shown that she can perform well in many roles, and she excels as our department supervisor. She ensures her associates are supported both as professionals and individuals so that we can be the best nurses possible for our patients.
